just curious, has anyone ever seen a player folder pocket aces before the flop? just curious.
Please explain why you would fold hereIf there's a situation where there are like at least 4 all-inners, then it might be a good idea to fold AA, but I'm talking about 90 player SNG 250 chip play money tournaments where everyone goes all in before the flop on the 1st hand. I can remember doing it least once, and it wuz a good thing that I did, cuz I would have lost. Btw, wut's up w/Laaks hair in this video? He looks like a rooster.
I would have shoved pre-flop if I was Scott Fischman there^^
But really you just call with the AA, get a 6x stack and win it from there. If you lose, reload your play chipsSure... when you have pocket aces, the equity in the hand drops %10 every time there is another player in the hand...so if there are 5 other players in the hand, your equity is below %50, since it is about a 85/15 favorite playing heads up.
It's just easy to imagine in this situation that if somebody else has pocket pairs , at some point they are going to hit a set, or suited connecters will get 2 pair, flushes, straights, etc.
250 play chip 90 men sng's are about the dumbest online tournaments you can possibly imagine. If u fold ur 1st 3 hands, about a 1/3 of the other players will have already been eliminated. I've actually been able to fold all the way to the final table.
I agree! I don't think anyone would have called, but then again some people would challenge it with any pair. But yeah I woulda shoved and been sitting with the pokerface if buddy with 66 called me and that flop came! lolarty:
yes i have folded AA preflop under these same circumstances....a few times as a matter of fact....sattys where im pretty much guarenteed to make the cut even if i dont play another hand...i figure why would i even take a chance of being beat for a pot that could leave me in danger of making nothingNot sure why you ever would. Perhaps if youre in a satellite and about to place with several all ins and calls in front of you.... I did hear they were people folding AA in the WSOP Main Event when 10 handed, just to make the November 9... but not sure if that was true or not. I cant imagine it would be.

yeah the guy in the video made an UNBELIEVEABLE fold.....i dont see how or why he folded there, its almost like he knew someone was gonna flop quads, ive watched it 4 times and cant see anything that would make him muck, it was a standard pot with no crazy 3, 4 , or 5 bet shoves no 5 or 6 way action, its literally like the guy knew what the outcome was gonna be.....that move completley puzzles me
