There was 5 card stud, if you were not cheating you were being cheated.
7 card stud became ruined by rocks, that is why the low card hand to bring in the first bet.
In the US it;s Texas hold'em. In Europe it's Omaha as there are more players seeing the flop.
I am an inventor of ahold'em game ( I know ! I know ) played and dealt
exactly as today, same starting hand probabilities, flop odds, out counted as today. same odds og getting qurads per x hands dealt etc. But no real
relationship between player's hands. That means if player 1 has AA, the odds on any other player having AK is unchanged!!
Not patent pending yet, retired on pension. Just trying to get email addresses of pro's like Howard Leder, Doyle, etc. Am in Colorado, 513 miles
from Vegas. Hoping to set up appointment for 20 seconds to explain game to a pro and get his opinion. Any help appreciated.
MAY THE FLOP BE WITH YOU

Seious enough to be cleaning building at night to pay for patent attorney. I know the premise seems distorted. Just imagine having only seen or played 7 card stad ONLY. then someone tells you with a deck of 52 cards they can accomadate 23 players. 23 X 7 = 161 But Hold'em makes it
possible.
texas holdem was a simple breakthorough from Cincinnatti, a game played
in the 1940"s and 50's. had flop, turn, river, etc But 5 cards to each player. make best hand of 10 cards. LOL
SWeiously i can do what the post says. at least i think I can Buzzo

Go to Full Tilt and look under the Pro Chat tab.You could find a pro there at various times during the day.
Careful what you say though. You don't want your idea stolen before you own the rights or have the legal process started.

First thing to do is both a copywrite and a patent search to ake sure no one has came up with the same thing yet. I know of one small company in Vegas that dedicates itself to inventing new poker games etc., they have plenty of games patented but none making it in mainstream gambling yet.

Prior to recieving a patent, you can get it listed as "patent pending" which covers you for 2 years. During this time the patent office cannot give out full information of your product to anyone including potential competition. Good for you in one way but at the same time you won't be able to tell if anyone else has the same idea listed as patent pending.

That said you are best to apply for a copywrite first. That's almost instant protection for you.

I've patented over 70 items, only used a lawyer once and his services were not worth the money. Not saying he was bad, just that you can do it yourself very easily and save the money.

When you do your research make sure the website name ends in .GOV (US government). google is your freind here. Here's the link to the US Patent and Trademark website : http://www.uspto.gov/

Last but most important thing, don't go talking to Pro's or anyone else until you are protected!

Am going the provisional patent route. If I can't scare up a backer after I
am patent pending, then I will thinki about funding it myself. If I hit in big will buy dinner in Vegas for anyone who posted on this thread. And of course put up $ so you can play poker with my money.
