Do you listen to music while you play?

Yes I always listen to the music when I am playing poker , I feel relaxed and I can play better to win a lot of money . I always listen rap , trap music and pop

I do not only listen music, I sing out loud. That makes me relaxed and be more carefull with my game.

online and live, i always have my playlists with me;
it helps me relax a little and keep mentally alert at the same time. i have hi energy music and mellow tunes ..depending on how i feel, during the day in a live tourney only if i make final 15 or so does it all go silent lol

I listen to music when LIVE and Online game too, and to be honest it helps me even more because I 'm more relaxed listening to my music and focus more on poker. Listening to the players talk during the game can be good for some people who can collect information about it, but to me it disturbs me because sometimes they can come into my mind and make my head.

Sometimes i listen music, i prefer rap or some dynamic electronic like hard techno. When i play at night, it helps me stay awake.

I don't listen to music while playing. Whatever that didn't distract me from poker.

I listen to music in the backround when I play online but I don't in live games and sometimes I feel the music helps me relax and play better online but I never tried in a live game which I will next time to see how it affects it, just curious on other player's thoughts on the subject.

me I listen to some music now and then while playing online. my music is all different kinds of music.from stuff from bob and tom show to big band, oldies, country.and from bob and tom show

I also listen to music when playing online. It is hard for even the best poker players to devote 100% of their attention every single hand just to the poker game. I would rather listen to music rather than opening a website or watching TV.

My music list comprises of over 600+ songs & I listen to Rock, Reggae, Rap,
Classical, Heavy Metal, R&B, Classic Rock, Pop, Jazz. I listen to all types of music & I will say that country is not music (HaHa).

I try not to listen to music playing live because there are so many more nuances (sights/sounds) you can pick up from the game. I may bring music & have my earphones in. The reason is so the chatty/annoying player next to me might take the hint that I don't want to talk when I dramatically have to shut off my music & remove my earphone every time he says something.

I always listen to music when i play poker. I enjoy it so much and to be honest when im in places that i cant listen to any it feels so akward.Mostly hear to hip hop and rap music.

When I play online, I'd say I listen to music probably 90% of the time. I rarely do it when I play live. I don't find it affects my play for better or worse. I'm just a happier person when I'm listening to music.

i listen the tv ( i don't watch) only in tournament but in regular tables i prefer music

I like listening to music when I play. Its like the spirits are helping you play. When good rock-n-roll comes on you play more aggressive. When christian music comes on you play a more tight game.

I download all types of music from rhapsody.com and put it on random mode. You know i think they programmed it to not mix songs until its time for that type of music. I think that because they play a string of music before changing. I listen a lot too.

I play different kind of music during a tournament, if its a long tournament classical is the best, but sometimes when in a good mood, alternative rues

Not listening in live games but online sure always... Music give me concentration and motivation for turnaments and cash games

I think loud listening music in late stage can be a distraction because the music is in "first plan" and there will be some big decision to make.I listen sometimes, sometimes i just want quiet atmosphere and poker depents on my mood.

Yes, keeps me focused in the early-middle stages, depends how big the tournament is for me to turn it off and focus more.
