Thanks, I'm an Economics Student so bankroll management should be my strongsuit.
Cam you elaborate on why you'd avoid 6max as that's what I've been currently playing. Didn't really consider there to be much of a difference although I assume it's tighter as the blinds go round slower???
And it's not that I'm worried about losing the £20 for it's numerical value, it's that I am just using this money to try to improve my game and don't really want to bust it and have to put more money on the site.
I too studied Economics - long before you were walking, or even crawling, on this earth.
Keeping an eye on bankroll management is a critical part of a long-term successful career in poker.
Full ring games give you the proper
odds and expectations represented in most
poker strategy systems. Pots can grow larger, allowing you to pick and choose your
hands more selectively. Early, middle, and late strategies vary significantly with full-ring games. You can then enter pots at the right time, knowing the long-run expectations for various hands.
Good luck with your studies and your game.
