Thanks for the comments. I will comment on a couple of posts, as well as state some observations I have made, and thoughts I have had. Feedback is always welcome.
PO, I played up to 21 tables, but have seen that it is too much. 12-16 is really so easy - I am quite surprised that it is - till 18 I start to notice the pressure, and after 18 I start tilting at not being able to keep up, so I cap at 18. 18 is a good number, and as long as I am in a good mental state, it is no problem to keep up. I make more bad snap decisions, but see more good hands...lol. This old brain just has its limits.... And, no, no zoom at all for me.
Ubercroz, as I started my new 2nl adventure, I was opening early with a very wide range, and calling in the blinds way too much. I think the wide range is fine in some cases in EP, since postflop the players are playing very face up or have bad cases of FPS. But the wide calling range was bad. I have stopped that. Over a course of close to 75K hands, I have been trying to learn what works and what doesent. The blinds were certainly a leak, and it is good to have that mentioned. My plan was to outplay post, but there I go with my own case of FPS. It is, after all, 100bb 2nl....lol @ myself for thinking otherwise :-)
I have had some info about multitabling software, but I am using the beta AHK at stars, and it is certainly not great, but helps a bit.
Thinks I now notice.
A lot of regs at 2nl. I guess people are trying to earn a side income. I see some there all the time. I play maybe 5 hours a day. If I am lucky, more, if I have stuff to do, less to none. But some players are there ALL THE TIME. If they dont need to work, why the fuk are they at 2nl??? Plus, I recognize a lot of names from 2-3 years ago (also at 5 and 10nl - I check out the tables sometimes). Dont these people have a life??? lol again @myself for saying that.... Pretty much all of them are bad. Some are impossible to make money of of unless you have a monster and so do they. Many play so face up post it is lol easy to float any flop and take the pot OTT or get out. Since they hit way less than 50% of the time, it is showing a profit to play ATC vs these players and just agro post. Of course, it depends, but I am amazed that I have 9-10K hands on some guys, they are regs, and they let me do the same thing every time..:-)
Some regs are starting to get real agro with me. A couple new 3 bet me all the time. I have started to 4 bet light, but it is turning into leveling wars and I dont want that. I am not certain thinking about polarized and balanced ranges is necessary at 2nl. That topic is not my strong point anyhow. If they have position, I just fold a lot of my range. But they are now playing a certain way against me in particular - a couple grumble about me in chat..lol - so I am not certain how to react. One player is 3 betting me every time I raise the button, but I have started raising almost ATC if UO to me OTB, but I dont think that is why. I have stacked him and been very agro vs almost anyone, and I think he is adjusting to me.
Since most of my money is in € I play only € tables. I only have like $40, the rest is €. I wont exchange, as you lose to exchange rates. I will play some 235 FPP sattys, and opt out for the T$s and sell them, as well as my VIP stellar rewards, so when I have 60 or so, I will start on the $ tables and have a new player pool.
I dont have a lot of time to play, so I do very little review, and do not post hands. I hope to change this. When I move up to 5nl, I will need to be more active there. I dont really have a goal as such. In general it is to get better at poker, and move up in stakes.
Thanks to all following, I will try to eventually post some interesting hands. I have folded JJ-QQ pre in a few cases, but IMO was standard. I dont want to post hands where you really say "if you are asking here, DO NOT MOVE UP if you need to ask". was down 15 BI, but got 10 back. I was coolered (SP?) bad the last 2 sessions. FH vs better FH, my AA vs AK, he straightens out OTR, my KK vs QQ - also straightens out OTR, when I hit my set OTF... ouch - my AA vs 97s all in pre!!!! with a 3 way pot, a KK as well, and he hits flush OTR..lol stuff like that. Funny but frustrating. But the many tables help make it just another hand.
