I made a deposit on the new bwin last night which has now merged with the party network. After playing a few hands my account got blocked and I'm awaiting a response from bwin.
I have an account on party poker which I haven't used since before Christmas, I've just moved my money from Full Tilt to take advantage of bwin's welcome bonus and didn't realize this could be an issue. I understand the two sites operate on the same network but thought it would be ok to set-up a new account on bwin to take advantage of the rakeback bonus?
Another thing that is worrying me is, my wife has a party poker account also which she very rarely plays but whilst I was waiting for my withdrawl to clear from Full Tilt I've been playing on her account. After reading up on the internet about what the issue could be I'm now worried after reading horror stories of accounts being closed and money confiscated!
I can honestly 100%, hand on heart, say that I/we have never ran both clients together - I'm not even sure if that's possible, like I said I've been playing on different networks for the past 6 months. Certainly no collosion has gone on, all I wanted was the 100% bonus rakeback bwin were offering. If I knew this would be an issue I would have put my money elsewhere.
Another reason I thought this would be ok is because I watch training videos on youtube by a guy called Gripsed (who I believe is also an affiliate of bwin). In his earlier videos he did a bankroll challenge at party poker but now he has carried on that challenge at bwin. He said bwin was the next big thing with their merge to the party network. Obviously he hasn't had issues with a separate account on each site.
