I don't remember and I don't believe this is my first, but it was likely in my first ten, it was a BWIN poker freeroll, 5000 people played, I finished 2nd. Prize was no more than 300 $, I received a mix of clean cash and ticket prizes, more in tickets i think. I proceeded to play, and got out with 50$, barely. They're shammers, don't ever play there. One of many examples, I once beat a guy in a cash game, i had 96 suit (I think) straight flush, and he had 4 of a kind with eights! Anyway, felt good!

My first online tournament I did really well! Came 2nd place out of 990 players in the 2c hyper turbo SnG on pokerstars. Won a little over $3 
My first live tournament ($50 MTT at my local casino) I did pretty poorly. I think I got knocked out when there was still about 80% of players remaining (so not even remotely close to the bubble). It took me several attempts before I cashed in a live tournament (only cashed in 3 live tournaments total because I'm more of a cash game player).

My first tournament was at a local Native American casino....not a pro in the room (definitely not me either lol) and I did pretty well. I busted out about 3-4 spots before the money. I think my tight-agressive style at the time got me through the early stages easily but when I had to start adjusting my play to the growing blinds, my tightness ended up being my downfall. Back then I had no clue how to adjust.
Since then, I have won three very small tournaments out of about ten, which to me is pretty damn good. The most I won was $1,200.00. Because of where I live, I can't play very often at all; someday I hope to play more.

My first tourny was an In Real Life tourny, when I was 15. I met with some friends & we had a classic Texas Hold'em tourny. It had a quite decent pot. I didnt win, at least I cant remember if I did lol, But was really fun.

I dont recall my first online tournament, probably a Hubble's freeroll from Stars... but my first live tourney it was a $10 rebuy MTT with around 50 players at the Radisson hotel and I won it... the last hand Q6 against AK... i had 2 pairs. Won close to $200

The first tournaments I played for play money. I do not remember, but the money was in the 15-20 tournament. I was there and a victory in the tournament with 400-500 participants. A first league open poker tournament played quite well for themselves at that time. Of the 10,000 participants took place 200-300. All this occurred six years ago. Now I play quite a different level. But as they say: "The Age of life- century learning."

My first tournament was a CC freeroll a couple of weeks ago (always played cash games before that ). After an hour of being almost carddead, i got a bit bored, and went all-in with 66 vs J2 pre-flop. He flopped a J and that was the end for me (100-ish place )

His first tournament I still remember. It was so exciting. I even hands were sweating with excitement. It was a freeroll with a prize of $ 20 and play a 1K people. The prizes of course I did not get, but the game remembered for a long time.
