It is always a great experience, but just don't expect much if you are really new to the game. As you'd have lot to learn.

If you want to succeed at the WSOP, you not only need to find a unique combination of skill and luck, but also follow certain rules. Playing too well is sometimes even a bad thing. Do not participate in the tournament as married couples - if one is eliminated, he will soon leave the tournament and another.A full house on the flop is a reason for some brutal action at the table. If you take the World Series as an example, it consists of a huge number of completely different tournaments, and you will be surprised when you realize how different the players' fields can be and how much this will affect your own game.Diverse starting stacks and blind levels directly affect the nature of the game. First, and this is the most obvious consequence, it affects your range. For example, the WSOP Main Event has a great tournament structure - you start with 50,000 chips, and each blind level lasts two hours.

I've never played in one but if you can afford it...why not enter? It would be a wonderful experience to participate in poker's most prestigious event. You might even get the chance to have the pleasure of meeting people you know from here on CardsChat. :) If you are a fan of poker on tv you could find yourself playing at the same table with one of the best in the world. That would definitely be fun! So go for it! ❤️

Is it worth to participate in WSOP tournaments if you are new to the game?

If your truly new to the game I would not suggest playing in the WSOP. Maybe give it a year or 2 then go. If you're looking for a really great experience going and playing in the world series is great experience. It is really worth it to me.

Is it worth to participate in WSOP tournaments if you are new to the game?
It depends. For someone like me who likes mixed games or the games less played then no because I would be playing against specialists or world class players of which, I definitely DO NOT WANT TO Play. I mean serious, serious nasty players that you don't want to play against with hopes of winning money against.

If you're playing a nl holdem tourn then even circuits are mostly rebuys so you have to show up with a lot more than 1 buyin.

Sure you can play with 1 buy in but that might not be the best way to go.

Then there is the sea of players that have no clue what they're doing or they want to do silly stuff and you have to survive their nonsense for . . a circuit is a day or two and fine but something like the Main Event, lol yeah a lot more than 2 days, lol.

I would rather find the cash games where all the influx of dead money goes during the series but that's just me.
