For me it's AK. This hand is good for 3-betting preflop, but you often have only 2 high cards on the flop. And the time for difficult decisions begins :)

Luckily there is no such thing. Every hand is playable. Therefore long live all these hands (like 7 2 and whatever) which might not make any sense whatsoever.

Soo true, I’d so rather be the JTs/QJs in a spot against AK. Soo many players stay attached to AK right to the river due to the fact they inflated the pot initially to gain value from their pre-flop holding.... See the same in cash often also, an that stretch’s to junk A’s lol. A comes, they get crazy and I’m sitting there with 2 pair+. This is an example from the other day where I ran into KK, hitting the K on flop and greedily forced my opponents remaining money in on the river when I could have held some back. I was crushing that session and was over confident with a smudge of arrogant alas lol🙄

If I was playing with the mentality I usually begin with like I had that session, I’d have check called the river rather than betting due to the unlikely but possibility of the captured flush by him on the river..... My stack dominance, clouded my humbleness lol.

And to actually address the thread topic, I seriously have an issue with JJ’s.... They almost always cause me problems lol.... That mainly being mentally, prior and into the turn and/or the potential implications of the immediate threat from calling hands to specific boards..... Targeting short stacks, being in later position makes life so much easier for sure. JJ UtG..... Aghhh ffs lol haha 🥴

All hands are playable, but I find hardest if you are playing A and a low kicker.

for me, an unpleasant hand is JQ you can't open it from an early position if you open it only in suitable situations at the beginning of the tournament, it's hard to open such a hand for me personally:)

It will probably be for me AJ. Although this is a fairly strong hand, sometimes such a hand requires quite difficult decisions.

Lol, triple input here now. Cash games and any hands you should be raising pre, when it’s in its final whatever’s....I had to force myself not play both AQo and AKo in 2 of the last 3 hands of my last live session of £1/2 a few days short of 2 weeks back. The table went crazy soon as the last 15min was announced.... Every character at the table that was down for the session turned into something new lol... The very deep pocketed 101 aggressive reg topped up an extra 500 and proceeded to terrorise those that were light for flips and put to the mantle those chipped up, like me, that he had unfinished business with ffs. 4/5 betting large became a thing, alongside double and super straddling....... MAYHEM!!!!

First time I’d been there for closing at that casino card room, when I’m back there in a few days I’m making sure I point out that a 30mim warning would be far greater appreciated lol.... Saying that, a reg knows when’s the place closes lol. So contrast, which is variance does indeed swing in all things both ways haha 😅

QQ

imo QQ is the hardest hand to play . too good to not overplay it ....but when you play it aggressively you will often face KK AA or AK will hit etc

i sometimes dont even play QQ aggresively but passively for that reason in cash games

For me all hands are playable, it all depends on the flop.As for AK, it is a strong hand, but very deceptive:)

Some hand which has kinda decent chance for straight should never be easy fold (especially in 97% cases) ...

Haha, just busted out in 7th from 2350ish in the CasinoOrg Freeroll.... Any guesses to the hand? Yes indeed the infamous JJ ffs 🙈. Couldn’t make it up lol. Tell you one thing getting a laptop and playing on desktop once more, and definitely joining this forum to better round my game.... The interactions here and the freerolls of connection have helped me improve my patience when it comes to online. I usually won’t go near anything that’s more then the demand 180 mans regardless of how much I have access to. A few weeks playing all these freerolls I’m now addicted to playing will definitely benefit me attempted to play full time again but with more online than 8 or so years back. 24/7 poker for 2023..... bring it on!!

JJ from UG into the UG+1 by the way. My 9.7bb (586k) into his 30.1bb (1.8m) with a holding of AhTs. Board JhQh8d 4h 3h. In truth I should have raised maybe but I’d have been forced to fold from how the table had been playing as a retakes and shove elsewhere was pretty likely..... Folding pre would have been my only prevention lol...ish 🙄

QJ
this is the most difficult hand for me. Sometimes I don't even play with such a hand, but it all depends on my position at the table.

QJ is a great hand, especially suited. Just dont go blasting when you hit top pair as you could be out kicked.

Hardest for me are probably 77 - 99, as they feel like strong hands but often aren't. Versus a raise a call, 3bet or fold all seem viable depending on positions and opponent (I never used to fold but it is the beat play in some situations!) , then post flop you so often have an underpair but seemingly too strong to fold

For me hard hands are middle pairs like 77,88 and hands like QJ K10, often opponent has pair of aces at the end and winning is hard

We want to enter the fight for big pots only with strong pairs. This is only possible if there are enough pairs with a weaker kicker in the opponent's range, with which he will continue the game. For example, with top pair and top kicker AK on an A87 flop with a flush draw, we beat all top pairs with a kicker below (AQ, AT, A5), which will be difficult for our opponent to get rid of. With a combination like A5, the opponent will have to make a difficult decision on subsequent streets. His hand is rarely the best. In this case, we dominate. The rule is that the higher the kicker of the combination, the higher its playability and the more often it will dominate (KQ will dominate KJ, KT, K9 on a Kxx flop)

High pairs QQ+ if i have a shortest stack at the table. Especially if i on the BB position and the flop is low but there is a lot of dro combinations there.

For me, the most difficult hand to play preflop is JJ, there can always be a higher card on the table and that makes the next play more difficult for you and makes you think a little about the probable game that the opponent brings.

Wise advice!
Go far with them!!!
🤣🤣🤣

Maybe most (>50%) of the time you'll still be ahead with AK postflop... obviously depending on the action at the table and many other factors.
So don't be sad if you don't hit the Ace or the K.
You can c-bet depending on the board a lot of the time, but as always it will depend on many factors.

For me it's very difficut to play pocket pairs...If you don't hit a set it becomes very uncomfartable to call someones' bets. I understand, that theoreticly if I just push this hand, then I have 50% against almost all hands, besides higher pairs and that means, that my opp will hit the table 50% of the times, then I need to call every at least 1 of 2 times, but I can't start doing this or some reason :LOL:
