Just curious what the responses are.

Beginning of a tourn. Everyone is 100+BBs deep.

You have A23T and act after the initial raiser. Its a regular paced online tourn.

What do you do after someone has raised the pot and what do you think the initial raiser has?

This is super vague. What are the suits of A23T? It makes a difference. What's the position of the raiser and what is your position?

Generally, A23T is a good speculative hand that you want to see a flop with. You have a shot at both the top and bottom straights. If you have a couple of suited cards in there, you add flush possibilities. Ideally it would be two different suits for the four cards.

Would it be something you would be willing to pay to see the flop if squeezed in the middle? I personally wouldn't, although a double suited A23T would be tempting.

So, probably call and assume the raiser has some kind of similar connecting cards or a high pair in there.

I just call. In late position with a least a suited ace, I can sometimes reraise if it is at low stakes against very bad opponents.

If there is an initial raiser then would they be more likely to raise with low cards or high hands?? If they're calling with low hands then wouldn't that bring down your chances of hitting that low hand some folks are thinking about hitting on the flop with those type of hands?

When playing PLO8 our best hands are hands that have high scoop possibilities unless this hand is suited in some way it is not the best of hands but is very strong. If we think this is a very strong one way hand which it is- that can scoop with a wheel sometimes- we can raise the hand. However if our Villains chase to rivers with weak high hands and no lows we may win much more by flatting and letting more players see the flop. A23 is a great hand for nutting up low with little chance of counterfeit and having 3 players play weaker lows or highs for stacks post flop. Yes we win half pot but the half can be 2.5x our stack that way. Vs raising getting HU and winning half the blinds with a low only

This hand is also very good for calling 3 bets preflop so flatting is not an issue
We will be quartered sometimes by another A2 hand that flatted but they will also call a 3 bet
