My biggest was a WPT event with an $1,100 buy in and I managed to take 120th place out of 1,600-1,700 entries. It paid out like 170 places. Prize pool topped $1,500,000. I was happy with the profit and happy to have cashed in a tourney where I got to play against the pros! When I saw my table draw for day 2 I got nervous for a minute when I saw that there was a WSOP main event final table guy who drew the same table as me. Then I realized I was starting day 2 with almost twice as many chips as him and my confidence came back. 1st place paid a few hundred thousand and that would have been nice, but I was happy with my run in such a tough field and it taught me that I had quite a bit to learn.
