Yah I hate QQ too!!! I just limp or call with it preflop & then fold if there's an Ace on the flop...

always so much better when there disguised well

my tip:

just shove AA preflop, no need to play it any other way imo

Do you think PO would have stayed here for 9k+ posts playing QQ as suggested ? ;)

Touche. Forgot to check post count :D

It's hard to tell the jokes around here... I'm new. And some people ACTUALLY advocate playing that way, so you never know ^.^:

Was in a tourney today & one player had been sitting out during earliest levels. Suddenly he's at the table & from EP he's allin for ~75bb's (open-shoves) & gets TWO callers! Yup, he had AA, lolz & won a huge pot!

New tip:

When your gut instinct is that your opponent has AA, don't try to convince yourself that it's actually pocket 10s.

It's probably AA.

Turns out I do have a cuppla tips.

1. If you're not bored, you're not playing right.

2. Switch the mindset. Start looking for a reason to fold. Play the hands that you can't convince yourself to fold.

QQ in the hole, some one raises, you should re-raise a small amount.
They fold you win
They call, you know your qq is good, hope the flop is favourable
They re-raise, their initial raise was very strong and caution is required.

Hope this basic tip helps, I know many players will say there is so much more to take into account but as a basic tip I promise it;s right to do this.

Your turn, don;t be shy, what works for you ?

Meh, not sure I like this. What is the small re-raise amount? I think you should reraise at least 3x, possibly 4x or 5x. If you min-reraise, if the opponent is a good player he will reraise you back with mid-premium+ hands. If he has a monster he might just call and slow roll you, especially if he has you on AJ+TT+. Of course the whole situation, like every situation, is player dependent. If it is a LAG, reraise big. If it is a super TAG, you might want to just call.

My biggest tip is use a HUD.

Don't overbet JJs, don't underbet AAs. With the former, if you get into on a bad flop let it go man because it's gone.

6. dont be results orientated

Dont let someone draw on you for free.
If you think they are on a draw, make them pay heavily to see the next card.

Another one...

Don't limp the SB. If you don't have a raising hand, fold. But don't limp. A good player will slap a 3bet on you with ATC.

Unless you have a read, of course.

Way to cover all the bases there, haha. :D

Another tip: Be constantly aware of the blind structure, and how the next level (or two or three) will change your play based on your current stack.
