Don't play in fancy tournaments. choose those that have regular speed or slow speed. the faster the tournament, the more it resembles a lottery, and the luck factor plays a greater role.
1) I recommend a cash game to start with, you will learn how to play poker, in tournaments you discard a lot of playable
hands, and in cash games you will learn how to play them, which will help you in tournaments under certain conditions.
2) play some SNGs, there are small $0.25 tournaments (45 players max) on
pokerstars where you will learn the basics of tournaments
3) Play all freeroles where the speed is slow, regular, turbo (avoid hyper-turbo is pure lottery and a waste of time)
4) check out the 30-day course on this forum.
