It's just a rake machine for pokerstars and a loose machine for players.

A small calculation :

- 289 tournaments of 1$ entry hit the jackpot of 1200$, that means that an average of 289* ( 100.000/5 ) * (7% * 3$ ) = 1.213.800 $ rake

- 138 tournaments of 3$ hit the jackpot = 138 * 100.000/5 * 7% * 9$ = 1.738.800 $

To be EV+ in those tournament, either you have to be extremely lucky or to get a win percentage over 38%

It's definitely a higher variance game than your standard Sit & Go's. I got the same amount invested in the bankroll, but I think the long-term deficit, because chances are minimal grand prize.

Played a lot of them, biggest one was 720$ for 3$ Spin n Go, but lost in second and got just 60$. After that I tried to hit one more big again, no success at all, just got lucky there with that 720$ lol
