I play in pokerstars PA, and about 2-3 days ago the format changed and there is now antes starting at the first blind level. It used to be that the blinds would not kick in until the 7th level. I play a tight game, especially the first few levels. The problem is that this is already a 6 max turbo format, and the game just moves faster. Depending on how I do I may just quit. This whole format introduces a lot more variance.
Because everyone else is more active, there are more raises behind me and I'm forced to fold hands I would have raised with. It's already a 6 max type of game and the blinds come around fast to begin with. Sometimes I'm genuinely getting nothing playable and am forced to make a play with sh*t after nearly getting blinded out.
I am forced to play hands I would have never played before. Don't get me wrong, I do VERY well, but I hate this new format and have not played long enough to determine if I can maintain the same ROI.
