If they're slow-rolling then you are right to be annoyed by it. If not, there could be many other reasons as discussed by other members. You just have to accept the fact that each player is allotted a certain amount of time (including time bank) by the poker site to make each decision, and each player has the right to use this time as they wish.

Sometimes when I rush with a hand I make the wrong play. Sometimes you do need to stop and think about a hand for a while, especially when it is for your tournament life.

For online poker it's difficult for me to understand, either call or fold. You can't read your opponent online. Just go based of the decision.
