Had a good run in a mtt tonight, 2,000 guaranteed freezeout...$5.50 buy in. 325 played in it, I finish 6th. Won $80, would have like a top 5 prize but I was happy to put in $5.50 and take out 80.

the awkward moment when you run like god in your lowest buy in games and like shit in the bigger part of your buy in range

haha results wise terribly so far, but I felt I played really well and the $215s were fun even if I didn't cash.

Still in MiniFTOPS #24 with few hundred left and average stack and on final of daily double b so couple of shots to save the day (and week) yet!

Because of exams decided that today is probably the last day of SCOOP/MiniFTOPS I play so would be nice to go out with a bang :(

Hey tournament guys. I'm from the cash game side of town. I come in peace, seeking your expert advice on a tournament I'm in tomorrow. Anything you can add would be appreciated. Check out my 50k freeroll thread here in the tournament section.

There is no 45-man Turbo in Stars between $3´s and $10´s?

I see 18-man $5.43 but not 45-man Turbo.

(i do see a $6 but is regular speed).

They've screwed it essentially...

Pretty sure there's nothing between $10 and $30 too haha.

The 180s are the things to play.

So, pretty much people is mixing $3´s and $10´s to get $6.50 avg? (not sure if is a good idea, the skill from $3s to $10´s should be something to consider to not mix it, right? ranges should be different).

haha, 180´s are your thing man, have months playing mostly 9-man, but just start to add 18-man to my schedule and will trow some 45´s now that change definitely from Tilt to Stars, if things go well maybe in next months start adding the 90´s/180´s, but still not time, the swings in 180´s should be very lovely ;)and need a bigger BR.

I'm not sure - before they changed the 180s back they had $5s and $10s so I mixed to get an $8 average, but now they have $8s so I don't need to.

Skill range from $3 to $10 should be pretty different, especially if there's a huge jump up to $30 or $25 (not sure what it actually is), because there will be a ton of regs who used to play higher now grinding lower than they used to to reduce average buyin.

90 mans on Tilt are great and they have $6.50 buyins (altho with $1 bounty included) but they take noticeably longer than Stars 180s...

Yea, i think this too, with bigger levels apart, players should be playing lower + more tables.

I see that 180´s are $2.50 (at this time, not sure if will be there tomorrow) before reach $8, maybe i trow some later this month, but need to get used to blinds in Stars first.

Yea, unfortunately have to drop Fulltilt. Fulltilt rakeback was the reason to stay there for me, but 2 cashouts still pending and is getting ridiculous to get any money from there, wich not work for me to be honest. In Stars already try to cashout and was automatic, so going to stick to Stars for some time (unless they keep moving games and piss me off),

Been playing a little variety of SNG at Carbon lately. Mostly heads up super turbos and a few 9 player turbos thrown in the mix. Unfortunately I have been playing more ring games than anything cause I hate waiting for games to fill. Also $4 and $10NL is totally beatable even for me at Carbon. Will still play tournies especially CC weekly, but gonna try to convert to mainly cash:(.

Will still try to keep posting in this thread and not quite ready to join the spammy cash thread yet, lol. GL to all this month and just for the record I am killing all the SNGs I am playing still:).

Why does Stars have to change everything all the time?

Kind of tough to know what to play. Guess its a sign that I should take my buisness elsewhere.
