Well that sucked! Ran pocket Queens into pocket Aces pretty early on. Not mad, because I know it happens. Very disappointed, though. Good luck, Ribby.

Are you still in it then?

Grrr. That does suck. Way to go on getting as far as you did, though. I know words are not nearly enough to express your disappointment but you did good!

And go, go, go RIBBY!

Sadly, none of the four of us made the final table. Here are where we placed in Day 2.

IntenseHeat - 67th
pjokay - 73rd
ribbyskadoosh - 51st
Shumkoolie77 - 29th

My day ended when I open shoved 14.5 big blinds with Pocket 7's, and got called by Queens, and couldn't improve. Even if I raised, I'm still calling off there, so I was going broke no matter what.

I'm a bit disappointed I didn't make the final table, but I was happy with how I competed and how far I went, though only 1 spot mattered at the end of the day. But it's a terrific promotion that ACR put on, along with Chris Moneymaker, and I wish the final 8 players well.

Thanks to all who sent me kind words, either on here, Twitter, Twitch, or Discord.

We played well! Qualifying for the Final was a monumental task in itself and you should hang your head high just for that! Remember, only one winner walks away with the contract. Seven more players are going to hit the rail this Sunday. Don't be too hard on yourself! Time to chase the Venom lol :D

Would definitely do it again. I enjoyed the format of the final. Eleven straight hours of poker was no problem for me. I couldn't do it every day, or even every week, but I like those types of tournaments. Run it back!

Great job!

Would you all do the challenge again, if the poker sites offer something like the Moneymaker event?

I absolutely would do something like that again. It was a lot of fun to be a part of.

I totally agree - even though I didn't win, I never got too hard on myself, and I wasn't down after busting out. I just enjoyed every moment along the way, and I knew going in that math says I'm a longshot to win, being 1 of 360. Keeping things in perspective really helped me throughout and made it more fun than anything. Nothing was expected or owed to me, so all I did was played as best as I could no matter the outcome.

I didn't realize that there is another CardsChat member still with a chance to win. intents09 - BEST of luck to you today. It would be really cool if a CardsChat member takes this down.

And go, go, go RIBBY!

I was out early the second day. Lost too many chips against a maniac, had a royal pair and should have folder as there were over over but the villain was playing about 70% of hands but the board was still dangerous with over cards but they fired off post flop heavy every hand but I should have let the hand go. I wouldn't say I was frustrated but do not think we had table changed in about 11 hours which is unusual and they were nearly playing every and just could not keep folding to them but timed it wrong. But at that point I believe it was still winner takes all which later changed to final table being paid with second place I believe a monstrous Venom ticket but didn't have that information at the time and couldn't keep folding.

Really like the slower pace of these tourneys, as fate would have it right after the bad hand a table change. Definitely an experience though.

Great results everyone! I was sweating that FT too.

I did not qualify (but I had a lot of fun playing those 1c tourneys, even won 1 lol). But I was wondering how that would be if someone that have a career wins that.

Would they allow you to still work on your career and still get the prize and do the professional stuff? Or would that be something that, if the guy cant be ACR 100% of the time then the deal is broken?

By the way Im looking forward to know who the Russian guy is. Hopefully they will do some introduction event.

According to 'Psycho29rus' Sharkscope, he only played 3 MTTs on ACR after winning Moneymaker series 4 months ago:
- 2$ Jackpot Holdem
- 0.55$ sattie for 16.5$ MTT (won)
- 16.5$ MTT

So my question is that anyone heared anything about him and his plans for this big amount? Maybe he is waiting to use the prize and learning still cause he is pretty new to the poker world still. Or can ACR have strict rules or schedule for him which may not lead to him trying out himself? Or any other hidden-possible reasons?

Interesting stuff. Cause hes a part of the team now.
Would be very uncool for ACR if he would just won that money and say goodbye. But that was a gamble for ACR in the first place.
