Hey everyone. New thread to see how many finalists our CardsChat community has in the ACR MoneyMaker event.

So far I have confirmed these members have qualified.

Good luck to you all. I played a couple of those, and finished in 1st in one, then read the rules and there was no way in hell I was going to dedicate that much time playing those tourneys.

Good luck to you all. I played a couple of those, and finished in 1st in one, then read the rules and there was no way in hell I was going to dedicate that much time playing those tourneys.

I just played during my regular evening - and weekend tourney schedule. I had a couple days off the very last week - which helped my qualify.
The highest I placed was 3rd once - and 5th once. The week I qualified I had 5 top 100 finishes, which is where you get the points for qualifying. I placed 5th, 8th, 20th, 32nd, and 35th - and I just eeked into the top 30.

It was actually a pretty competitive series, with very much donk play early from those who - play like that - ya know. And once in the top 100 it was very much like ITM of any tourney, with a couple of aggro donks left who happen to luck into a big stack early.


From what little I know - it looks like this is going to get some solid attention. Something us micro/low stakes players do not often get.

Two stormers have qualified, YendorAllIn who is QuickQuestionNow & jjcorrado87 so those guys will be streaming the event, and KillingBird also said he was going to be streaming, railing someone - I guess one of his TPE members.



I'm not sure what ACR has planned - their is a facebook group (The Next Moneymaker) they requested us finalists to sign up for, unfortunately since I do not 'do' the facebook I'm unaware what info is available there.

yeah, I plan to stream and sweat all people from my Twitch community. 20-30 people or so, so could be lots of jumping around! should be fun.

I'm not used to winner takes all formats but giving it a crack. Surprised I have not changed table yet in 6 hours. Got a couple of really loose players to my right and getting drained picking my blind defend spots. What a tourney. Work is going to be a real struggle tomorrow though. But even if I get knocked out now it's been a good run as its a tough field as the qualifiers were definitely challenging.

Really like these slow paced formats.

1 place and only 1st is paid out the 362 but it is $105,000. Amazing prize. It's a 3 day event though so a mega pain if you cannot do a day!

Yeah nice work Shumkoolie77. You were in the top 2-3 for a long time when I was playing. I got walks with KKs 3 times and never made it past the flop on several hands. Won a nice little pot with bottom set.
And my bust out hand was AA flopped top set - fish re-raised his gutshot on the turn - I just jammed only having about 19bb behind - with no flush to be scared of, he calls and rivers the luckbox straight with J/T. Oh well - I know I made the correct decision and was a big favorite to win and get a solid double up. Thems the breaks.

I'll be railing the remaining 4 on Sunday. GL all

I have no idea about any further events on any poker site.
