KQ shove ?

if you shove and get called by 44 it's a good thing.

Oh yes, this just happened to me. I shoved KQo UTG and was called by 44 in the small blind. I shot out of my seat, pumping my fist, screaming, "Yes, Yes, Yes!!! Thank you Poker Gods!!!!!"



I was then asked to leave.

i like these questions, its a real tight one, i think for me personally, due to the antes its a shove, but neither folding or shoving is wrong

however, those suggesting just a raise. i think thats a horrible move

Well what do you know - this just happened to me last night - live 40 man $50 tourney at the final table. I look at KQ and shove my 10bb stack only to have AKs rammed down my throat when the guy flops a nut flush. And I'm the guy who wrote I would fold. Actions speak louder than words.

Not pushing from UTG in that situation. I'll call a push W/KQo at that table, for sure. But from UTG, Imma try to see the flop cheap.

i think i shove there with only 10bb left and antes and blinds climbing ,,, i like the play
