It depends on the tournament and situation. If its an MTT, where I start with 100-200BB, then definitely no. But if its a hyperturbo SnG, where I only start with 25BB, then maybe. If for instance I was BB, and either BTN or SB raised to 3BB, then I would move all-in over that raise with KQ for 25BB. But if it was UTG min-raising, then I probably just call and see a flop, especially if there is no ante.

In the first hand of a tournament, it is certain that they would not go all-in.
I treat K,Q carefully even in the later stages of the tournament, and for me it is only possible to go all-in preflop with it as a short stack.

It depends, notice that everything in Poker the answer is “IT DEPENDS” LOL.

It depends on the position, how many blinds, type of tournament, actions of the other players.

But at the start of the tournament, I play with raise.

Would you go all in with KQ on the first hand of a tournament's?
For me it`s not that good hand for all in, as if somebody hits pair of aces it`s very hard to win that hand, though as said higher if it`s turbo sat or 20bb tournament I would likely go all in.

It's not really possible to answer this with one word, yes or no.
Of course not in most cases!

If you are the first to answer, never! First try to see the flop, it's a great card but it always breaks

KQ is not the best couple of cards to go all-in generally. Also, at the beginning of a tournament I would avoid to go all in. Therefore no I wouldn't go all-in at the beginning of a tournament with KQ!

Would you go all in with KQ on the first hand of a tournament's?

No never...AK, AQ has you crushed most of the time.

Even if a K hits the flop K87 chances are you're behind

At least if you have K? you pretty much know you're behind on such a flop

I dont like to go all-in on the first hand in any tourney.. I find I almost always lose for some reason. But I do like to play the KQ, its a great hand and does win quite often :)

from an early position I would definitely not open All-in, but if you open it in a late position with BU or from SB to BB, you can if no one has bet All-in before you, then put it yourself somehow you can understand but at the beginning of the tournament I don't see the point:)

no, kq isnt strong enough to shove preflop... i wouldnt even shove with ak in the first hand of a tournament, however if any player shove i might call with hands like ak or maybe aq, but with kq i would fold specially on the first hand of a tournament.

I don't think it's a smart decision to go all-in with KQ early in the tournament!!!

In hyperturbo lottery freerolls, of course yes))) with a 25bb stack. When there is a chance to win, let others go)))
