Once upon a time I won SnG tournament from one cheap)

I don't think its worth get into with only 15 in chips. The tail it would of been worth it at was the first time you tryed bluffing. you still had over a 1000 chips. The slow play would of been caught and you can still come back. I guess a 200 hor bet on river to keep him from betting.

Absolutely with a lot of patiens and luck.. I`ve won many tournaments, been short stack, ones I had only 4 k blind were like 10k 20k... at final table.. on other occasion at just 20 minutes of a montly tournament begins 1 start with 180k, call an all in and lost I kept 29k... I won tournament..

Was nearly out early in micro mills main event,turned last 68 chips back into over 3,500 in no time but still lost not long after.
But have also hit a final table as chip leader and gone to small stack on first hand,then i won like 13 all-ins in a row hehe and won the tourney,so the phrase never give up is well worth remembering if you are down but want it bad enough.

I was the short stack with about 120 players left in todays 100 dollar cardschat daily freeroll on pokerstars and I ended up making the final table. I was the short stack at the beginning of the final table as well but in the end I won the tourney so it pays to not give up.

I have dropped to very low chips in a tournament and I have thought of leaving the game but then I realise Im not out until I am really out. Sometimes I find myself crawling my way back into the tournament when initially I thought there was no hope in carrying on. So basically play all your chips that are left on the table.

It's always possible to come back! You're not done until you have no more chips.

Yesterday I was lucky enough to revive from 0,6bb to 18bb (avg stack was 30bb), it's very exciting.

It’s poker, miracles always happen in it.Unfortunately, many players are upset and give up.So you need to have patience, stamina and anger, then luck will smile at you:-)

Not sure how far 15 chips would take you and my guess would be not very far.

I have been down to 300 chips out of 2500 chip start and ended up in 6th place out of 148 players. Needless to say lots of luck I had as well as waiting to play a hand in a pot that would either knock me out of the tourney or multiple my chip total by at least 4 or 5 times.

As they say the dream never dies just the dreamer so until you have no chips you are still in the game

Of course you can still go up from a short stack. If you can wait for an opportunity to go all in. From 10-15 BB I start looking for opportunities to put all my chips forward.

With the remaining chips you can climb but in 1 case out of 1000 and whether it is worth spending time on it all depends on the tournament and prizes.In your case, a free Freeroll and do not even think ))).

I dont like to give up ,but it is just half of blind .

If you get a run or 1 premium hand each round you can win the tourney as smallest stack

It is definitely very possible to come back from a very small stack in a MTT. There have been several times that I've done it. I can remember one tournament where we started with around 300 people and I lost a huge pot early on with a bad beat. It took me down to one $5 chip. I spun that one chip all the way up and made the final table. I think I ended up finishing 3rd if I remember right. Good Luck.

When you are down to just a chip and a chair, it opens-up your range to any two cards, so I have gone all-in on crap, hit the double-up, then hit it again, and then I was back in the mix. Then I refocused, and made it for a deep run.

When u have a bad beat and u lost almost all chips its possible to get back in the game. U have to stay focused and not loose ur patience. I was playing 7.5 bounty builder and after a bead beat i got only 1k left,then I won 5 of 6hands(i folded 1 time)and at the end finished in 16.th place

Everything is possible if you try it but in your game you were very aggravating by appearing a ladder without compromising the hand of the opponent. the play when you have AK, AQ, Aj does not mean that you have won as you saw, now I advise you to take it as a similar lesson and get up and move on

From a bad loss where you lost most of your chips to come back by wining 3 hands in the row... after that I was moved to other table.

And I was just thinking rachelle2291 is my hero.

This autumn in 3.30 Cardschat tournament on Pokerstars at the full final table I lost all-in and was left with a stack of a size of half-ante And I ended up winning the whole tournament

Yes you can come back into a game when you lose a lot in a hand that you probably should of won.

I seem to run better after taking a big hit at the start of a tournament. You just tighten up your game a little, then look for the player who seems to play a fit or fold sort of game and if you have the initiative against that opponent just cbet a lot if they fold a lot. As long as you don't tilt when these things happen, you should be good.

My second largest tournament score to date was in a 12$ tournament, where I got it in on the bubble, lost a coinflip and was left with a completely crippled stack. I therefore changed strategy and managed to fold my way to the money with less than 1BB left. The very next hand I got it in with whatever and won, and that started a comeback, which actually saw me take home second place.

So yes these kind of miracles do happen, but of course not very often. Still its definitely a mistake to give up and just sit out and let yourself blind away after losing the majority of your chips, as I sometimes see people do. In that case better to just get it in, until you bust or have build up a workable stack.

Kind of bad by the Villain by the way to not put Hero all in for the last 15 chips. The only time, someone should survive with 15 chips, is, if the hand was all in, and they were the big stack. This is just another example, that a lot of players in freerolls dont really understand, what is going on, or how to play.

Yes! I’ve come back from under a blind to win 180-mans on more than one occasion, a couple of live casino daily tournaments as well, probably more MTTSNGs than I realize. I’ve come back from very short (say 3bb or less) stacks to have a deep run many times.

I think this is actually more common than people realize, particularly when you become very short post ante. When it’s at this late stage of the tournament, you can 10x or so up just by winning the first all in. From there you can conceivably be at an average stack in the course of only a few hands! This is another reason why I think short stacked play is so underrated in tournament poker as there are still right and wrong decisions when you have only a couple of blinds!

Antes definitely matter, when you are ultra short stacked, and makes it easier to come back from the brink of extinction.

of course it's possible. I managed several times to go back in a tournament with just 100 chips. but you have to win all-in and luck plays an important role in this run.

Many times i've been seeing this situation. After loosing almost all stack player starting play all in many times and agressive in some hands and he's get up again.

Don't remember the details, but heard a story of a player winning a live tournament after having been down to 1 chip.

I think you have a chance to win as long as you have chips !!! And no matter how much although the more chips the better)))
