To fold because it is too early in a tournament is foolish and should never enter the equation...if this is your mindset then quit playing altogether

I think DetroitJunkie is pretty much right on, with the exception of the point mentioned above. It's important to consider place and time in the tourney. Risk versus reward is important to consider - bust out and live for another hand?
