Given ur situation, i would have 4 bet there preflop...
If i get a call, i would decide to raise or check depending on number of face cards on flop...Also it depends much on the villians range of cards...
If i get a shove, u can decide to call it or fold depending on villians stack size...
But if u get a raise, i would fold even to that at that stage of the game....
