Anyone willing to give me some general strategies and tips for beating daily casino poker tournaments? Most I know is just adapting to playing smaller stack sizes of 40bb and less. I assume there are more adjustments to make given the shorter blind levels and if the tournament has rebuys.

I can give you some advice, don’t expect to win every day. If you need advice, play by card, don't waste your stack on every hand

How much is the rake on those daily tournaments? A combination of a fast structure and high rake might make them essentially unbeatable.

My advice is to just play your game, I assume that you've been playing online, and don't over think things.

If you are going to play them then you will want to build a player pool log of some kind- Often you will play the same Villains and exploiting them will be the best ROI strategy-

Standard live strategy is to make larger bets for value=when they fold less often----this includes turn shoves for 2x 3x 4x pot--in the correct spots of course
fold more often when they bet= they bet the nuts
Thin value Bet/ fold to raise on rivers=they do not bluff
Milk the really tight players with smaller bets when correct to do so---log notes
IP vs chasers check back to realize equity= still getting paid turn and river large bets---I have actually checked back a gutter draw made the gutter and then shoved over turn lead for 3x pot and got called by top pair non-nut draw----log notes creates larger ROI spots

Call down lighter vs wild players -- post flop wild not just preflop wild--again your pool log helps here. It is very important distinction as live players will change from loose wild agg pre to tight agg post flop we need to know this to call down or get our stack in with our marginal made hands vs the post flop wild player only.

We often want to turn down marginal call spots on tables where other players are giving away stacks as we can get their entire stack in the next orbit or 2 so why call a 50-50 or worse spot now for 20% of our stack when we can get our stack in 90-10 vs another player in the very near future---player pool dependent -- get that log started and add to it every orbit

One of them has a buy-in of $60, $15 deducted and $45 is the entry fee. $500 guaranteed prize pool and starting stack size is 50bb with unlimited re-entries until level three. Level times are 20 minutes and then turn into 15 minutes on the third level and beyond.

Seems like a bit of a crapshoot, but daily tournaments are meant to get people playing and then right out the door.
