It's not a simple answer, mainly because more information is needed to answer it: 1) What is the structure of the tournament (regular, turbo, hyper-turbo)? 2) What is the stack of the players who are on the table (sb and bb)? 3) What is being disputed? You are already ITM? 4) What is your history on the table? What is the profile of the players (aggressive, passive, tight, loose)?
Answered these questions, I would take the best decision. In general rules, it is a bad shove because theoretically will only get called for better hands or pray for a flip against AJ, AT, JJ, TT, 99.
Lucothefish. I only post the hands which are VERY close in my mind, on here cause I like the player feedback. As you can see someone said it was a ship.. But I like your reasoning... My point is. I know push fold pretty well, but push/fold with antes is slightly looser and I'm trying to get it down perfect
Another factor to consider: how tight are the players to your left and right? If you're able to steal / resteal at this table without too much trouble then it's easier to fold spots like this.
If the table is looser (particularly to your left) you should open your push/call ranges a bit and be more willing to gamble. I'd rather lose here with this hand at 11bb than two orbits later at 6bb while waiting for a steal spot that never came
