I was wondering if anyone employs a different strategy when playing in a unique event compared to when playing one of the regular events they play in?
If all things are equal, comparing the unique event to regular events (buy-in/prize pool), does anyone consider changing up some things they do for the special event?
The upcoming MOSS/OSS events on ACR have my mind tingling.
I suspect I will be changing my play in some of the smaller buy-in events as well as some that might be at the top of my comfort level in relation to buy-in/bankroll management, however the reasoning is related to BR management rather than the uniqueness of the events.
Does the prestige/uniqueness of an event cause anyone to change things, loosen up, tighten up, exploit more, GTO more?
