Do you exit out after being eliminated or stay and study opponents?

I've found that by watching my competitors after being eliminated from a tournament is a great tool to use as a studying aid. Because I'm not involved in trying to focus on playing, I can focus on people and get some good perspectives on their play. Do you just exit out after being eliminated or do you study opponents?

Nah, if I want to see people playing I rather turn on some Twitch streamer. I think they're more insightful as they usually comment on their hands and interact with the chat. :)

I have at time stayed at the table to watch and learn. Usually do this for a specific player I want to get more information on. Its actually helpful.

I don't. I almost always get eliminated because I either took a chance (sometimes with the odds in my favour, sometimes not in my favour, sometimes a flip), or because I made a mistake. I already know why I lost.

The only time I stick around and watch is if I made it to final table or maybe final 4 or better, I love to see who takes it all at that point. Otherwise I walk away unless I am trying to figure one specific person out that I have seen on my tables before.

I'm going out and I can't wait to see what happens and how it's played, but it's a good idea to follow your opponents a bit:)

When I started playing poker, I was an observer, then it got boring, now I analyze my mistakes, my anxiety

In online tournaments, I usually quit. I don't play high stakes and therefore opponents tend to vary a lot between tournaments.

I'm assuming your talking in a casino not online..... nope usually leave I know most opponents in my area as I play weekly tournaments and the few big series they have throughout the year. No point hanging around wishing I was still in. That's just me though it definitely is a great opportunity to watch and learn player you may just be starting to know or even older one the learning never stops. Keep studying however works best for you

No I dont stay to watch. I typically play 4 tables at a time, so I need to focus my attention on the tournaments, I am still in. Or if it was the last one running, it has likely already been a long session, and its time for me to do something else. What I do instead is to sometimes watch streams like the one, pokerstars do every week of day 2 of Sunday Million. This is a good way to study, how other people play the late phase and final table of a big MTT, and possibly get some new ideas.

Not staying. Best learning is when I'm actively engaged. Moreover, there are so many playing styles around, can't study and learn from them all. Important is to understand the dynamics of a tournament or cash game, they all differ so much depending on the elements such as level of the stakes, freeroll, beginners participating etc.

When there are no upcoming tournaments, and I knock out 10th or 15th out of 1000 people, it's interesting to watch the rest, it will be possible to learn something, but there is a case when I have a nervous breakdown after a stupid mistake and I just go out:confused:

Once I'm eliminated from the tournament I usually leave as there are a lot of players I'm at the table with. They are from the players that when I am in a tournament at a table I am aware of all the actions of other players :D

It’s a good idea to stay inside the table after being eliminated to watch your opponents, but this can only be done if you are playing at a one table.
But playing at multiple tables or after a long grind can be tiring and may not be good for observation.
And it's not a good idea if someone falls out after a badbeat and stays at the table, because you can't stay objective here either.

For me studying poker opponents after being eliminated is wasting of time. You are not sure that you hit tchem in next tournament. Any way after all sometimes i like to watch how players play but more for fun than studying, but only sometime.

I would have stayed to watch the opponents play, but from the mobile App after the tournament ends, you are automatically transferred to the lobby and the tournament table closes.
Although the hands that have reached the showdown are of great value, since without a showdown, you can only estimate the frequency of open raises and the size of bets and the approximate range without knowing for sure whether it was a val or a bluff.

I'm out immediately because I'm usually playing several tournaments at the same time, and I prefer to focus my energy on the remaining tournaments, and honestly I prefer to do some studying and analyzing while I play at that table.

Playing on freerolls, I do not see the point in watching the further game of the opponent , especially after the departure from the category of "bad luck " , for example, all in KK and you get against AA.

Ha ha, well you said 'finnish' as in Finland, instead of 'finish'. :p

And there's some sort of friendly rivalry going on between Sweden and Finland, so that's why I asked. ;)

Lollll ok sorry its my error now i understand more ......
