Defending blind in plo tournaments

Hi, I play PLO tournaments. I have question, how often should I defend BB, there is no rake and there is ante, in holdem you defends 60-80% according to ranges, but what are numbers in plo, where equities are more convergent, so you should defend more, but in omaha, position is more important so you should less. My friend suggests mi to not defend some hand like KT63s. I know that answer is complicated, there are diffrent lvls of blinds, diffrent stages, diffrent position, so lets focus about general tendentions.
