sng is the fastest and most profitable way to play poker if you are a focused player.

to win a sng table you must follow a discipline and not lose focus

1. Be patient and don't pay all in at the start with high cards, keep in mind that a tournament like this lasts at least 30 minutes.

2. hope to have the best flop to be able to double and stand to wait for cards of good rank or pairs.

3. multiplying your chips x3 guarantees you the bubble. patience at this point

4. know how to run the table as leader chips. It doesn't mean bluffing every hand. but if you take advantage of the blinds and the position to win more chips

6. if you are a sng player leave your advice in the comments

A SnG is just a small tournament, and the early phase is not all that different from the early-mid phase of an MTT or to some extend even a cash game. A 40 BB hand is still a 40 BB hand, regardless if you are playing a SnG, a large MTT or even a cash game. The only thing, which is really different about SnGs, is the bubble, and this will again depend on format. But for the most common 9-man and 6-man formats, the bubble is pretty extreme, and you need to learn the strategies needed to navigate this situation well.

As the chip leader you widen your range and apply pressure, and as a mid-stack you tighten up significantly and avoid confrontations with the chip leader, unless you have a strong hand and fold equity. There are situations, where the chip leader can jam any two cards, and the second largest stack can not even call with AK. This best way to learn this is to use software like ICMizer. Or watch some of Collin Moshmans content here on CC and elsewhere on training sites like tournamentpokeredge.com.

Well said, to be profitable, you must be able to adjust and play cards correctly,
for all the fish, there are many sharks that dominate the SNG tables
