I think that even for a weak player the range preflop push will be higher than 66. Therefore, playing a coin more than half a stack is a dubious undertaking at this stage of the tournament. The price for chips that are saved is higher than for those that can be won.

I would have folded in this situation since 66 is not that strong of a hand to risk 1/3 of your stack

Fold no doubt. If he had less than 10 blinds maybe. So close to the money isnt the best time to just throw it all up to just gamble. I dont think any serious player would call. Push maybe but no way call.

Side note were did you finish. Smart move like that had to pay off yes?:ciao:

Regrettably, nessa phase do torneio, I try to be more withdrawn, to compensate to be sure and wait for bolha estourar, alem of 66 to be marginal muito for jogo em all in this position !!!

Several times I kept waiting and waiting for bolha estourar, but she never showed up. It seems to me that bolha estourar is not very punctual :)

Correctly arrived that threw off a card. In this case, and your position in the tournament, a pair of sixes is rather weak for this answer. It’s better to keep the chips that you have than to lose them.

Easy fold for me. I would want to see a flop, but can't because of the situation. 66 isn't that strong at all.

At best you are likely coin flipping. You aren't going to be crushing too many hands.

Discipline and patience.

Hello! Given the shorter stacks, I would not call from 66. Yes, the opponent’s range will be very wide, but the pair with a low pocket is too weak to equalize this all-in, and the loss of this coin will jeopardize participation in this tournament, I would call here with TT +. But if there were no other short stacks, then this is definitely a call.

I would shove with 66 but would not call when so close to the money. No point in being a slight favorite and risking 2/3 of your stack

u on the bubble and will make it if u keep folding. even if u dont hit big anymore u still made the right choice in securing ur investment back to you, which give u a chance to play again without going negative.

if u were rly short and u had to win chips to make the money then a pair is good to call/shove. It holds about over 50% of the time versus any lower pair and also vs any other hand that is not a pair

No expert here, but for me that guy is not shoving 8% of hands, with 11bb, in the bubble, he should be shoving wide

I think your actions are correct. I would fold too. Maybe he just steals the blinds, but the risk is high and relying on a coin will be a mistake. Going all-in with monsters only.

This is a tough one, sometimes i play on gut feel not always systematic, if this was one of my small buy-in table i might call, but if it is a major buy-in like 20usd and above i might fold, but generally this hand should be a fold coz there are so many few hand you can beat, and sometimes its very easy to lose here by a weak ACE the board can easily pair and you are dead. i would fold this hand.

In some other situation I'd risk and call (another stage, stronger pair), but in this case it was pure fold, I think. You did it right.

Folded well because 66 didn't have much strength given that the villain could be Ax, K9s + and losing would be more than half of his chips. Better to expect a more favorable situation.

If both villian and hero are under 10bb here i'm calling OR if villian is super short and we have a much bigger stack...also calling. Villian is in late position and has been shoving past few hands...range is going to be super wide.

That said, I agree with others this close to the money and having enough bbs to survive another few orbits without push/fold decisions it's a fold.

Some folks will call here because if they hold up against Ax they're going to have a stack to go even deeper into the money...either stack up for a shot at a deep run or fold for a min cash some will say. Most will fold in this spot with 17bbs and wait for a hopefully better spot soon.
