I need help! Hello everyone, help with information, did someone beat these tournaments? I think it's like playing roulette and good luck, and of course your skill! how do you play after the bubble, I have such results, but this is not a victory, how do you play after the bubble, does someone win these tournaments?
Your opinion and advice are interesting, thanks dear friends!

This kind of tournament have a interesting dynamic. People use to play more aggressively because of the bounty.

You can adapt yourself to play them but takes time. After all is not so different from a regular bounty tournament

Projecting my standings, I might finish in a similar position, but am hoping to take it down- we'll see... :)

In my experience, bounty builder tournaments were a lot softer when they were first introduced. After a while, almost everyone playing then with any frequency realized that they needed to play more aggressively as the result of the bounties being such a significant part of the prize pool.

While it is still very possible to be profitable in bounty builders, I believe they tend to be populated with players that are playing closer to correct than in an average standard MTT. They are certainly very fun to play though and a nice change of pace from the more traditional formats :)

Its kind of difficult to say, if you beat such huge field tournaments, because the variance is so enormous. Even if you have an ROI of 30%, which is very solid, you have 37% risk of losing over a sample of 1.000 MTTs, if the field is 4.400 players, and 13% gets paid.

If you want to see faster and more consistent results, you need to play smaller events like the 1,5$ 90 man KO bounty SnG. Or you can move to sites like 888 Poker, which have smaller MTTs.

I dought, any format of 1,1$ MTT is tough on any poker site, since its generally going to be, where a lot of the absolute beginners find their way. But higher up you can certainly have a point, that PKOs might be at least as tough as regular MTTs. As you say, the format is not new any more, so regulars have learned the correct adjustments, and some have even specialised in the format :)

Def a fair point about the buyin yes, should’ve specified that I meant in terms of potential to move up :)

I once had a good race in the bounty 11$, finished in 5th place.I think that playing the bounty below $ 11 is much harder.Micro-bounty players generally play the same way as in regular tournaments and on low lemites, the player is mainly aimed at hunting for rewards. From my point of view it looks like this:rolleyes:

I think playing more aggressively will work for you because this is different from any touranaments.

In ordinary MTT,I think the game is more restrained than in bounty...Since in bounty, everyone tends to knock out the opponent and the game is more aggressive...

Kind of repeating myself now, but it seems, everybody else, who have replied to the thread, have missed, what is the real point or question here. Because yes it is difficult to win or even reach the final table in an MTT like this. But its not, because it has bounties, or because people play "wild". Its difficult for the ultra simple reason, that 4.400 people entered or reentered. This mean, that only 1 in 500 will reach the final table, and it requires an enormous amount of luck to be one of those.

Even if the greatest players in the world entered this tournament, the vast majority of the time they would also not reach the final table. This is just the reality of poker tournaments and the reason why, entering these huge field events is always going to have a big element of lottery about it.

And again if this is not, what you are looking for, then play something with less variance. Cash games. STTs. Smaller MTTs on other poker sites. The player cap events or the 45-180 mans on pokerstars. Sure its exciting, that if you have a bankroll of say 100$, then maybe you can increase it 5 times or more by entering and winning an event like this. But of course its not going to happen for the vast majority, just like the vast majority also dont turn a 10$ lottery ticket into a million.
