I've never even had a straight flush so no I wouldn't fold one. If I get one and at that time someone has a royal that's just ridiculously bad luck.

It is really important what the river card was!!!
In case the board paired, and your opponent kept raising you, it is possible he has some strong full house or even quads that is within the range of cards with which villain raises river. In such case, it is perfectly fine to re-raise your opponent, go all in, and call all in as well.
In case the board didn't pair, and you opponent still raises you recklessly on the river, he is probably never bluffing. Go for some check call, if u get raised all in, probably still a call, but if went check-call, could have saved some money :)
anyways, tough luck :) :)

Well, if I caught this combination on the flop, greed would not allow me to throw cards off.

I don't think you should fold but if you lead and get re-raised, just flat call. On that board an Ad is a very likely hand. Any other flush is just calling not raising. Its still a tough beat but no reason to get busted with that hand.

hi!
its a straight flush but you can easily lose if your opponent have just one card.also have in mind that the card is an ace so its more likely that they didnt fold this card
so call but dont push there!
(i have lost with a straight flush with 2 pocket cards once...)

I most likely would have been all in 10 times in a row with that hand. I think 9 out of 10 pros would have made the same call you did. sorry about your bad beat, I hope you get them next time. Peace" and Happy Bank Rolling....

I would go to the end. And not be dropped, but he lost some chips but there was also a opportunity to win.
