Has anyone been selected deep in turn-based satellites? What tournaments did you qualify for?

I am once played in a tournament for a ticket entry: there were 500+ players and top 10 will get tickets i thought.
But after this session i realized that it was only first part of competition.
After this they launched additional tournament and anyone may join us for $1 or $3.
I decided to not play satellites as its bored and takes so long...

I have never made my way, I took a maximum of 8th place out of 3000 people, although I really wanted to at least feel like it)

a couple of weeks ago I went from a free freeroll to a satellite for 5.5, from it to sat for 55, from it to sat for 530 and that's it, there were 12 people and one ticket for 5200, I flew 7, very disappointing!!!

I tried very hard but didn't get far so I think it's very hard to do, especially since you need to spend a lot of time on it

Yes, you need to have a lot of free time for stepping satellites. Plus, in some sat you start to tilt, because you play a lot of hands
