Agree with you also about the limping, i usually do if are utg/utg+1 (some times with my entire range) but don´t like to limp from MP/LP in general (depends on table and blinds of course), but yes, you are right.

Ever have a day when you somehow KNOW you are going to play bad? I kept one of my Sunday Storm entries, and first hand I'm dealt QQ. Shoulda just shoved and let the gods decide. I liked how I played it, but the Ace comes on the turn and my donkey reraises me on the river. Suddenly I'm half-stacked, semi-tilting, and know I am gonna make some bad plays from here on out. Managed to walk away from that one, but my Satellites haven't gone much better today. Hopefully another rotation of the earth brings me a fresh mindset...

1st week of August has been rough for me. It's been harder than I thought it would after I made the withdraw...defiantly not use to this small of a roll to play with. I should be playing $1 and $2 games but I find myself playing $5 games a lot. Really gonna watch my brm this week.

Also I logged into my sportsbook account for the first time in months last night...gonna try to build up a few bucks off funsteps just so I can gamble with it when college football and the nfl come, which won't be long. Played in 6 funstep 1's tonight and got 4 tickets too funstep 2.

And the cooler continues...these past 10 days I have lost the majority of hands where it was 50/50 or I was a 60 or 70 percent favorite when I got it in and it has been 50/50 whenever I am a 75 or 80 percent favorite. Just got put of a mtt, my A J lost too A 8 lol.

I have quit sngs, I gave that up yesterday morning...I go on tilt too easy when I play sngs, which is another reason why my roll is getting thin.

Good news is my withdraw should be approved in the next 2 or 3 days.

Hey guys I am back ! Tried cash (actually ended up 1 bi total, but went on a huge downswing), but I am back to my passion, MTTs.

I am on bodog and while there isn't a lot of tournaments, the structures are nice. I have ~$230 so I will be playing $1-$7 tournaments (maybe throw in a $10 one occasionally). Hoping to start on the high end of variance to get a BR that would be willing to sustain these buy-ins.

I would but I'm already in a money league...$50bi 12 person league. I tried doing two money leagues last year but I didn't like it...a lot of times you would have guys starting for you in one league and playing against in the other league. Goodluck though.

First time i play the fifty/50 games in stars , not many games played (only play 6 games of the $1.50), at first look they are very similar to bodog stt, i like it more than dons and still not sure if like it more than standard stt. Need to try a couple more sessions to see if games are really that soft or was lucky to get soft tables today.

I change today my table theme, hypersimple is history now and start playing with the light theme.

Does not see it much in the pict but pot and $amounts are in a light green that looks a lot better than the white from hypersimple, also prefeer the players sits this way.

I agree -- I found most of the PS table themes somewhat confusing. I prefer the cards that are coloured with white values.

I've caved and started multitabling (6) 18-man turbos again; gonna see if I can get that Gold Star!

Yeah, it's not the standard play, but Bwammo has got me in the habit of trying to think unconventionally

Things are pretty good, very very busy with school and work, and lots of stuff is happening in my personal life too. Hope you're doing well too, I miss spending time on here, its just tough when you can't really play poker I am still playing a lot of Starcraft though!

I quite like to min-raise UTG. Usually builds a good pot, but easy to get away from if things aren't looking good. Can sometimes be confusing/ambiguous enough that it takes the blinds.

Big news -- I installed the trial for Poker Tracker 3! We'll see if it helps enough to pay for it in 2 months...
Any tips on HUD stats? I just played 4 tournies using the default 3 (VPIP, PFR, AFq) and found them helpful for stealing/restealing. Any other suggestions?

I start to lose the love for 18mans to be honest, staking sites are pretty much reg- infesting every level, with 5-6 regs at final table is really hard to have good results lately.

Why PT3?, i like HEM a lot more.

St/Af/3B/hands

Start to playing continuously today, usually was playing sets of 10, so was playing 10games/hr, but need to stack the tables wich don´t help much to improve, and lately just help to enter in bot-mode, so go back to 6 tables (tile) but continuouesly help to load 13games/hr, so even when playing less tables im loading more games than before and also can focus more because less tables.

No real reason for PT3 over HEM -- just had to take the plunge. Must admit, other than some early learning pains, I'm loving the HUD!

Mostly just taking advantage of big gaps between VPIP and PFR. Not looking much at the 3bet% yet, and using steal% to tell me if they play position or not.

You're right about the 18-seaters ($3.50)-- seemed every final table was the same bunch of TAGs. I did 5 Sunday Storm Sats tonight and cashed 3, so I'm thinking this could be my new weeknight "grind".

I'll never stop loving diving into a single big tournament, but I can see how the HUD will make multitabling those shorter sessions so much easier...

Looking forward to getting into my own stats and plugging some leaks!..

Surprisingly didn't lose too much for a Sunday given I played like 120 tournaments and still got chance of winning weee

There was a special 11$ tourney yesterday with Isildur1, that I really wanted to play.
Regretably I missed it, but so did Viktor Blom.
But they will re-schedule.

So my new goal for this month:
Play with and beat Isildur1

Hey,
This month (yes I know I'm late), but I just started getting back into playing on a reg basis. I can mutli-table, but it is just not as fun for me. I prefer 3 tables. I am playing mainly on Bodog. Have been playing the 10$ 3k guar regularly and cashed several times, once in the top 10 this month. For low volume I feel like I'm playing solid right now. I may also start picking up some of the sngs on stars soon. We'll see!
