Thank U 4 Posting

Poker players talk a lot of crap. They say negative things about players that have won millions of dollars playing poker.
Please do not listen to or care about what they have to say. It is always best to ignore any crap you hear from anyone.

It is great that you are here on CC you can interact with players who are positive and supportive.

Hope this helps

Well, I do not use chat and seldom pay much attention to those who do. However, you cite what others said about you but not what you chat about (positive or negative).

I have noticed some players get irritated if one player keeps incessantly commenting, point out the obvious when all can see how a hand played out. Or letting people know they folded a winning hand etc.

I think you do not necessarily have to be negative yourself to set people off. However, if you notice you are being commented on with some regularity, then perhaps you should be aware if you are irritating people.

hm....

ok...

I dont know why in first place you think I irritate players... by having a conversation... by saying good luck to all?.... by being happy after winning a hand...

by saying goood luck when my KKs got broke by a 6-8off...???. when that guy raise i reraise he went all in then i call and showed that....

then after this maybe you perhaps can have a different opinion....

just saying.. I would be irritate enough if I see a player getting an allin lost by that hand.. idk by you...

anyways... thanks for your post =) :icon_sant

hi there , I'm going to answer 1st and read the rest of this post after, first off I'd say I ignore any negative chats or excessive taunting type chats, also I have noticed that it seems a bit funny when a chatty player is talking a lot but only to himself and towards no one in particular, I may be out of line but just seems funny lol , however each to their own as I love all players chips equally, one tip I'd give is this, those who chat too much taunts etc better not go out with a junk hand calling allin vs say AA or KK , it's very funny then :p
.
other than that I'm reasonably chatty and good conversations can be had whilst taking each others chips, it's all fun and good that way imo , don't get too bothered by what others say unless some false accusations , then just out play them next you meet , good poker and see you at the tables :)

In freerolls I see more players get it in with stuff like AT, AJ, AQ, so I will play my AK much more aggressively, but with increases in buyins I see less "bad ace allins" and play my AK more cautiously.

You see, perhaps that is part of the problem.

I did not say you irritated people. I said it might be a possibility which is not the same thing. I specifically said you do not have to be negative yourself to set people off.

I'll give an example, especially because this is all in text/chat and can be misconstrued easily. In your original post you ask questions and then answer them twice with NO, HELL NO in all caps. You perhaps mean nothing by this but must know people interpret all caps as being shouty and aggressive, so even in this post it set an odd tone.

The reality is, if people commented about you once you left the table then something is off. It could be that although your English is good, it is not your first language (I believe, correct me if I am wrong) and some of the things you say, particularly in the chat box setting do not quite come off in the manner you mean.

You asked for feedback and I am trying to give a constructive opinion, that is all.

gotcha!

yes as I in my perspecive it can be my way of speak as as u toguth corret english is not my native language.....

perhaps is my way of comunication as I wish to chat to everyone ... maybe there are players more reserved while they are playinh..
this being said... again I dont understand why players talk behind others .... hope you understand my point of view...

As from now on ill follow your advice and illtry to be more reserved... I didnt think that way.... maybe being like this ill leave my door open and start chat with the nes who realy wants to..

=)

thanks for your reply

chaviiiis - I also appreciate your reply! I can see that you are trying to understand the situation which is commendable.

Your English is very good, but if you just bear in mind perhaps sometimes it is open to a little misunderstanding - and remember that for many in the free rolls English is not their first language either...so they can also mistake what someone else is meaning to say.

Good luck at the tables!

I'd say you don't have to be more or less reserved, just be yourself, however if the player you're chatting to is quiet, then don't bother chatting to them some more, for myself I have a few players I chat to regularly, however if I say hi and they're quiet, I assume maybe they're playing plenty tables or watching a movie or simply not watching the chat, in that case I play my game and whoever chats chats, no big deal, mostly if players chat when I leave I'd hope they say "whoohoo the danger player has gone" , or similar, in any event I'm not so worried what players say, only worried about the chips :p

1., Only from the FT bubble
2., Nope, I just add to them 'freeroller' to the notes...

Anyway, the chat is always turned off, so whatever they are 'chattening' I do not hear.... unfortunately, you cannot mute the talking heads the same way in the "real life", that would be great!!!! the online poker has advantages, too...
