It looked like you were picking your spots fine, but after that KJ vs TT hand, you just broke down. For example, that A4 vs AJ hand, you were betting into a VERY dangerous flop; possibly the worst flop ever for bluffing. QJ9 is just about the definition of an action flop, and on top of the fact that you're probably seen as a very aggressive player, people are bound to call you down with 2nd pair. Then you raised and pushed with 2 very weak hands: J2 and T6 - I'm sure you could have waited for a better opportunity to try and steal, as your stack was still perfectly healthy.

Exactly. You've been very aggressive, which was fine at first because you were picking good spots, and the other players were playing very tight, but your opponents caught on. You always have to keep your table image in mind, especially when making big bluffs like that. You don't have to completely dominate the table, and can still be an aggressive player and accumulate a good amount of chips. It just seems to me like you started to tilt some after that KJ hand, and you were trying your normal bluffing plays, but in poorer spots.

Have you read the HoH series? They were a GREAT help to my tournament game, and if you haven't, then they should help you immensely. I'm alot like you (or used to be, at least moreso than now) in that I sometimes get too loose late, or maybe it's just that I don't pick my spots properly. The series taught me just how much a conservative game can help with bluffing.

Hope my ramble helped some :)

Yeah I haven't read all these HHs, but the A4 vs AJ is a check-fold hand if I ever saw one. Everyone loses more pots than they win. So a large amount of the skill in poker is cutting your losses when you're behind.

I didn't read everyone (I do have a life), but what I did see is that you seem to be pushing alot of weak aces and got very lucky a couple of times hitting 3 outers or flushes. (6% chance of getting a flush with 2 flush cards in your hand and seeing all 5 board cards). Weak aces may look good but are too easily dominated. Any pocket pair over you kicker and almost any other ace has you dominated, also 2 cards between your ace and kicker is only a slight underdog.

The Ah, Qh hand with a queen on the board and 2 hearts, why bet so much? You figure to have the best hand here and should try to get some value. you bet more than the pot and only a hand that has you beat (like a set) will call you while the weak flush draws or middle pair hands should fold. You want them to call and chase you here, why push them out. You had top pair top kicker and the nut flush draw. A value bet here instead of the over bet might have gotten you some more chips.

Mainly I don't like the ace x bets, especially the ones you played from early position.

at that point i was raising with any two. i dont value weak aces at all early on & in ring games. i have 19-25% seen rate usually, premiums + suited connectors & pp's from mp or later. any two was getting me the blinds + antes, so i exploited it. i hoped someone flopped some part of that AQ and, and since i had been playing so aggressively, i was hoping for someone to put me on junk "as usual"
