Yes this is true. Usually the deep runs I have made in 200-300 player MTTs take 4 hours.

I was just figuring this one would take a while.

If it follows a standard pattern, half the field will be gone the first hour, 1/2 the next...etc

that's 10 hours to the final 5.

I have not verified the pattern since BF, but before that, it held on average over all sites, all formats. If anything, since BF, lots of americans have learned how to be nittier, and it could last longer....
