Its only the 6th hand of a large tourney and you're chip leader. VILLAIN is playing his first hand, so TAG can be assumed, but no real reads yet.
(History Edited, actual history will be posted later)

there is absolutely no reason to call this, in fact you should not have re raised the original raise pre flop if you assumed he was TAG....

calling this all in without any type of draw and king high is the wrong play....

Its very easy to put him on big overcards to the flop...maybe even AA.....

but you posting this hand gives me a theory....I think you end up calling and Villain turns over crap and you win the pot...but thats just a theory....
results?????

Let me guess, it's a freeroll, you are the Villian, and he called and sucked out on you.

Obviously this is a fold as posted.

I guess I can post the results now since Effexor ruined it :p (It was meant to be obvious)

But first I'll explain my thoughts. Yes, it is a freeroll and I mainly use freerolls now to test my reads. I EXPECTED to lose this hand, especially after he called but before he showed his hand. From my perspective I put him on aces, or at least suited AK, AQ, AJ... most likely AQ or AJ. I suspected aces, call it a hunch, and wow was I wrong... but I am in most freerolls to find out if my reads are correct.

Here it is:

full tilt poker Game #3563508521: $100 Freeroll (27133563), Table 235 - 15/30 - No Limit Hold'em - 19:46:10 ET - 2007/09/14

I actually lost a $200 HU SnG a while back from this same situation. Slightly different cards but same effect on my bankroll (and yes, I was way over my limits then). Fortunately this was a freeroll, but its really messing with my head. I'm trying to rebuild my bankroll and bad beats like this are really holding me back from playing the upper limits again. Thoughts, suggestions?

just grind it out....make a couple dollars here and there and be patient...if you want to start from zero again or from a low amount then patience is the key, you cannot let the bad beats effect you....good thing your bad beat came in the early stages of the tournament rather than when there are 50 people left and 27 get paid out of 2700....thats the worst

you just gottta be patient, make a couple dollars here and there, do the ferguson and final table in that, then you are back in no time....I recently went thru my entire house and got every single coin in the whole place and it turned into $200....I then got that in cash, bought a visa gift card, and deposited on to full tilt....before that I was doing 2-3 freerolls a day....and i got impatient...but so far im doing well with the 200

also, why would you risk all of your chips out of position on the flop there??? im sure it would have gave the same outcome but you might be able to get away from the hand on the river

6 hands into a very large tournament, I might still be in the bathroom, or preparing myself to sit down at the table. Knowing that tho the tourney had started, I would not want any temptation for at least 3 orbits.

A very large tourney also means a very long time. 4 hours at least, maybe up to seven online. There is no rush! KJ might be good for a limp in that spot, but not much more so early in the tourney with NO READS!
