This is the 2nd hand of a 30 person tournament.. I must say it's a freeroll and we know how people play wacky when it's free.. I actually had a read on dejavue that he had pocket kings.. I chose to check top pair to see what he would do here..When he bet such a large amount and the guy behind him goes all in I figure one of them is on a draw and the other has a pair larger than the board or possibly a set.. Little did i know that they both flopped a straight draw!.. I just didn't want to take a chance so early even though I had top pair top kicker..What would you have done?

preflop, i'm not sure i like cold calling AQ here. Your out of position, and don't have the strongest hand in the world though AQ is a solid starting hand. I think I'd be either pushing or folding.

Given that you did call PF, I think you should lead the flop for info. TPTK looked weak to me before seeing the results, which is why i like leading out for info. I actually put one of the OPs on an overpair, or something...this is a crazy hand.
p.s. what buy in is this tourney? My guess is that it's pretty low, and in saying so, I lean more toward pushing to the reraise PF since donkeys will often reraise with those AJ type hands, or even 88 and 99.

After writing all this, i only just noticed your last paragraph
sorry - a little too much:beer: tonight :)

Why check the flop?

Lead, and given that it's a freeroll, call a push. Two pushes I'd have to think about for a sec but I'd probably call eventually.

Checking the flop was a bad move here. You have top pair and the best kicker. Although, the two all ins is a tough situation. Folding was probably a good move here (taking the result out of the equation). By the looks of the hand analysis, this happened in the very early stages of the sit n go. Either they have nothing or a monster hand. One all in, I would probably call. Two? Maybe not.
