ok, long story short, we have been card dead since start of the tourney, and just played extremly tight, really tight, when one loose player and I mean loose, player raised, now the question I ask u all is Do we let him hang himself, or how do we approach this?

Dream flop (except that it's rainbow), and perfect position. Can't ask for much better. Yes, let him hang himself! Try not to show any strength on the flop. If there's a bet, just call it. If they check then check behind to let them catch up. You might want to try a raise on the turn because it might look suspicious if you leave your raise to the river. Also, if you raise the turn and get called it creates a bigger pot for river action.

Sidenote - I hope neither of them have 44 :)

Check/call the flop and the turn. If no bets on the turn then lead out for 200 to 275. And hope noone has 44.

Check/Call and try and get a read on what they have. Plus it helps if you already know a bit about who you are playing against. If they are loose you can bet the turn and see what happens. If they are tight give them a chance to bet and then raise them on the turn, not to much do not want to give away the strength of your hand.
