Hmm, nice laydown. I'd raise more pre-flop (say to 250) with two limpers already in, and out of position you'd rather take it down now. I'd also bet the pot on the flop rather than your puny minimum bet, to take out any drawers to the diamond flush.

Out of interest, why did you fold? It's still only a small raise compared to the pot. What range did you put him on, with what probabilities?

he reraised it almost immediately after I bet and with 3 diamonds on board and with his quick re-raise I put him on any 2 diamonds.

AJ is similar in many ways to AK at first you think you have a good starting hand - but if you miss the flop your often left wondering where in the hand you are.

So i raise at least 3 times the big blind (especially in early position to get rid of those pesky small-mid ppairs) then if you miss the flop and are raised it should be easy enough to lay it down.

He could raise more preflop but I don't think his opponent would have folded his Jack sh*t suited. If his opponent was willing to limp than call raise, do you think an extra 100 or 200 would have made a difference?
