Although in most cases that would be the reason, it was with PS, and you start with 1000 chips I think it is so he was actually in a fine position!

Was this player very loose/passive? If so I can (maybe) understand the check and call on the flop/turn if he will call down with middle pair/bottom pair. But a CB on the flop would have probably taken it right there.

I think 4otrwhatever just doesn't like money, honestly.

This was near to the beginning of the tournament - within the first half an hour from what I remember.
Bit of a calling station! Only stayed in because he kept getting ridiculously lucky - even took a few players out lol.

Looking back at the hand now, I think I should have bet the flop like you recommend!
