This is a pretty standard Way Ahead/Way Behind scenario.

1) If he has a flush, or a better kicker queen, or a set (which has boated), we're crushed.

2) If he has a bluff, a flush draw, or a 2-pair type hand, we have him crushed.

There's only 1 hand that might call a raise from us, and that's the ace of hearts. Otherwise, we're going to scare off hands the hands we beat, and just donate to the hands we don't.

We call here, and check/call any sane river bet. This board is too dangerous to go raising on.

That's why we bet the flop to see where we're at. Also to defend your hand if no one has two hearts.

I agree either check/call or check/fold is the best move being in the situation you are now. At this point, either move can be correct.

Which would depend how he has played previous hands.

I would not automatically assume my opponent has KQ just because that was the only hand he showed down. That said, if he's been selective about his hands, he probably has a higher kicker.

After check/calling, unless you had another Q or a 7, or have a good read, if he makes a very large sized bet on the river, you have to consider folding.

I don't expect him to make a large river bet because if he doesn't have the flush, you could. If he does, he has to fear the possibility you have the flush or better, and it's just not smart to do it without a hand that beats yours.
