TT with one overcard and check raised on the turn

Would you have played this differently preflop or on the flop? What would your action have been when check raised on the turn?

I can see possibly reraising preflop with TT, but after a raise and a call I felt just calling was acceptable. I can also see betting the flop in position after being checked to, but I would have been betting into four other players.

Seeing as how the tournament just started and you have had no time to get reads on any of the players, I would fold. Not saying that you didn't possibly have the best hand, but you have no clue what this guys range is. He could be literally be playing anything, from AA to some low pair/nothing. Wait awhile and see the type player he is first

I don't feel bad about folding. My opponent turned out to have 77, but he easily could have had a set or a higher pair.

It was the first time I've played the Full Tile $750K Guarantee so I was initially worried I was being too conservative.

Preflop I think is fine. I don't think you want to reraise preflop having a raiser and caller plus more to act behind you. I also would have folded on the turn. The biggest problem is not betting the flop when checked to you. This would have given you a better understanding where you were in the hand.

never get married to any 2 cards this early. If you fold them, a few seconds later they will give you 2 more cards. If you play them, they might not....LOL
