Okay, another scenario from the OFC event. Still pretty early (~25 hands in) so no great reads. CraftyItalian was playing a lot of pots and stats were ~65/25.

I know I should've bet preflop, but this guy had been willing to 4bet twice already in the tourney. I really didn't want to get reraised is why I just called. So, the trips are nice on the flop, but the board is about as wet as they get. What do I do here?

Will post more once we get this covered.

I don't understand. If he is 4-betting like crazy, then three-bet and call a shove/fist-pump when he 4-bets. TT is crushing this donkey's range.

Since you kept the pot small, starting making it big. I'd bet 3/4 pot, maybe more.

Mind you, that I had just read a lot of the golden archive stuff and, pre flop, was really looking to hit the flop hard (which I did) and nail him when he cbet the flop.

You don't need to hit really hard, you have him beat badly.
TT vs. 25% raising range:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 61.675% 61.21% 00.47% 1842533076 14034450.00 { TT }
Hand 1: 38.325% 37.86% 00.47% 1139628456 14034450.00 { 66+, A2s+, K6s+, Q8s+, J8s+, T8s+, A7o+, K9o+, QTo+, JTo }

See! This is the reason I'm posting all these hands today. I have a tough time doing what you just did in your last post; putting villain on a range.

I've got HOH vol. 1, and I've been thoroughly reading the Golden Archives trying to wrap my head around this concept. Any suggestions of where I might find something else?
