Great fold. AJ is not a hand you want to 4-bet with, it is a shove card later in the game, but in current position you are beaten with plenty of cards, and in the best case scenario you can get to a preflop. I remember dozen of times when I was busted out playing AJ or AQ.

You did the right thing IMO although when your hand hits and you muck it leaves you thinking damn. It is hard not to feel this way but playing correctly will win out more in the long run not to mention it's the right way to play. I try not to focus on hands that I fold too much it always ends up doing bad thing for my game when I do. Just my nickels worth hope it helps. Good Luck and see you on the tables!
