Er, dunno, tough one.

Very long think....................................

OK, I don`t believe he has the King, else I would have expected him to check-raise you on the flop. The flush draw is possible (maybe AJ or AT of spades), and so is AA, JJ etc.. If he holds any of those, he must be worried that you have the King and have just hit your Full House.

I`d be inclined to bet again. The only thing that makes me pause is the thought that you`re getting pot-committed here and that, if you don`t win this one, this game is going to be very tough for you.

With that in mind, I`m tempted to push all-in. If we are wrong and he does have the King, might as well go out in a blaze of glory but, if we are right, he`ll fold.

check. this is exactly how they play a king in these. maybe call a small bet on the river or value bet if its checked to you on river.

I can't help but strongly feel the guy's got a K. With a paired board and a player to act after if he chooses to call, a lot of players with flush draws might not even call this flop bet, so I'm slightly less inclined to put the player on a flush draw than I would be under different circumstances. Of course, in $10 SnGs any draw is pretty much possible at any time, but this just reeks of a K to me. I'd check behind.

I checked behind; I figured that the risk of villain holding a king was a bigger factor than him calling a bet on a (possibly dead, from his point of view) draw. Though I wouldn't doubt him calling with a bet with an ace on the turn considering the average $10 player....

Anyways the river comes:

He maybe had ace queen and called your flop bet because he didnt buy you had king either. or he has jj, tt or 99 which is the most probable imo. If he has AA i dont think hell fold it to a river bet, he wont buy the king story now. I say check river and show it down. though you could make some money vs jj and tt maybe, but not worth it to me.

A smallish bet (~ 1/4 pot) for information could be the way to go on the Turn. If you get raised, chuck it away. If you're beat you're beat, as, your chances of improving are only 4%. If he's on a flush draw, he's not making a mistake by calling, but it's better than not making him pay at all.

Clearly you're ahead 99% of the time on the river, so value bet whatever you think he'll call (which might not be very much, say 1/3 pot).

This is a must-bet (alan). Only AA, 33 or Kx have me beat now and the only one that really matches the betting line so far is Kx even though he most probably doesn't check the river.

I made a wimpey little bet of 250 to try and entice a call from him if he decided to play the board; he did and called with AT (not spades. Sorry, but I'm way to lazy to find the HH again)

I like the idea of a river push, Dingo. He turned out to be a calling station and would probably call that bet without thinking twice.
