Push preflop approximately %100 of the time here.

So he calls all in with having a 4... only on PS.

With a 7500 stack, having to call only ~500 chips into a 1200 chip pot and having the chance to bust someone, I make the very same call every time.

I agree..............the guy had a pair heads up w/ not much to call for a chance of eliminating some1 & a ton of chips to do it. I play the same way.

Just to reiterate: pleeease push pre-flop. I can't even explain how bad limping for half of your stack is. I really can't.

Just to pile on. What they said. Pushing preflop is the ONLY option here.

His call was pretty much mandatory considering everything.

#1 - your play is worse than villain's. please shove preflop.

#2 - your play is worse than villain's. please raise/shove preflop and call river as played.

Once blinds hit 50/100 in a donk n go you should essentially never be limping (with a few rare exceptions like for example with a big stack and ~T9s on the button when 5 people have limped).

What are you talking about Chris? This is obviously Pokerstars fault.

With all the possibilities on the river, you should have just called his bet, rather than min-raising. Alternatively, you could have pushed the turn, but that's a rather donk play.

From these 2 hands, it seems to me that you need to play a bit more aggressively. Check/calling is losing poker. Raise it up and make the other player feel the heat!
