I've noticed a tendency in my pot wins. I steal blinds pretty well when the antes get up there, don't really track them early in a tourney or SNG, but one thing I've seen is that my average pot takedown is...well, average. Almost no big pot takedowns, mostly 'grinder' pots. I'm wondering if that's something that I need to worry about. I don't mind playing 'grinder' poker, but I'm wondering if that's a sign that I'm not being aggressive enough, laying back with a 'safe' try for a moderate pot. Thoughts anyone?

I prefer to take down the small, unwanted pots. Even though they're just average sized, they can add up real fast. I wouldnt worry about the big pot take downs if you're increasing your chip stack with the smaller pots. The big pots will come along. I like going after the small pots because I dont risk a lot of my chips to steal them and if Im re-raised, I can easily lay it down.
